Dr. Jennifer Zodan is a NYS licensed Clinical Psychologist who received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University. Dr. Zodan brings a great breadth of experience to our practice as she also currently serves as a clinical psychologist at Nassau University Medical Center, where she conducts inpatient and outpatient individual and group psychotherapy with both children and adults.
Additionally, Dr. Zodan is passionate about research and utilizing evidence based treatments in order to ensure that individuals are achieving their goals in therapy. She is also an adjunct faculty member at Molloy College.
Her approach to therapy is rooted in relational psychodynamic theory, and she frequently employs a variety of cognitive and behavioral techniques, depending on the individual needs of her patients. It is this inclusive and integrative perspective that affords Dr. Zodan the ability to adapt to each situation and foster a comfortable and productive therapy environment with a wide variety of patients.
